Village Bake House lunch is often referred to as “the best-kept secret in Groton!” Our name tells you that we bake in-house, and you might assume we are just a bakery. Yes, we bake fresh loaves of bread daily, along with our famous cookies and other sweet treats. But what we are best known for is our made-to-order handcrafted sandwiches, salads and wraps, a healthy alternative to “Hamburger Hill” options in the Groton area.

Our atmosphere is that of a cozy cafe. Our staff is friendly and helpful. Eat-in or takeout. Our restaurant features an antique nook of unique vintage finds that many patrons enjoy browsing while we prepared each lunch order. Village Bake House is a great place to read the newspaper with your morning coffee, meet up with a friend, or hold a lunch meeting.

Sandwiches and wraps are served with a side of the day – potato salad, coleslaw, or pasta salad. Our soups and salads are just as amazing! We offer a variety of chips, drinks, and soda.
